We Must Be CLEAN!

I'm still enjoying my crafting experiments. I bought a grip'o (that means a lot of) soap making supplies. I only have two molds and have only really used one so far, but it's fun.

Check this stuff out:

All natural vegetable soap. Adorable, fragrant, vegan. How can you not love it? Just don't eat one. I sent a free sample to one of my Etsy customers and she thought it was candy until several bites in. I did not laugh, I swear.*

I then experimented with adding Shea butters and avocado oils and exfoliants and came up with these. I love them, and my apartment smelled like God's armpit for the rest of the day (that's a good thing, promise).

I had to make pink ones, of course. Super cuteness! I need to get some goat's milk for my next batch, just 'cause that's awesome.

They are, of course, for sale in my Etsy store. What am I going to do with dozens of soaps??

I've also been practicing my photo taking skills. Natural light is gloooorious. As long as it's not on my skin, then it's just cruel.

*I am a liar.

I'm starting to feel like NAY of my friends would be better suited for my husband's family than I am! Nate's aunt makes soap also and just blogged about it. http://mybyrdhouse.blogspot.com/

Oo! She made an apron pattern exactly like the one I wanted to make. She's fancy!

OK so I usually email nate any blog posts i think he might like. He wants to know, "Is she bringing us candy soaps?". I'm just passing it along. ;)

PS the thought of nate using a tiny strawberry shaped and scented soap cracks me up!

Just for the possibility of watching Nate use them, I may have to pack some. Can I bring soaps on a plane, you think? I might have to send them with Hilly.

You could probably put them in checked baggage, if you're bringing any...

I don't plan to check baggage, but I guess I'll see how much i have when I'm done packing. When I checked a bag for my honeymoon I didn't get it for more than half the trip and had to spend every day in my bathing suit (thank God I put that in BJ's carry on) but couldn't shave my legs. :p
